The WHO says yearly PM2.5 should stay under 5 µg/m³. Most Indian cities sit well above that, so the goal is not perfect air, it is choosing the floor that gives you the cleanest slice of what is available.

The shape of the height curves comes from standard atmospheric physics tuned to your location's pollution level. The biggest unknown is how deep the night inversion sits, which shifts the best floor by a few floors, never the overall story.

The very top loses on wind, not oxygen
The highest floor has the cleanest raw air but the worst airflow, plus harder escape, sway and sun load. Its penalty is about daily life, not thin air. Oxygen is a rounding error in any building.

The lowest floors sit inside both the street fumes and the trapped night air at the exact hours you sleep and breathe deepest. No view or garden makes up for the dirtiest slice of air.
